vs. 1993 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 The Corvette ZR-1 is considered, by many, the ultimate Corvette. Faster than any factory Corvette previous and faster than most today, being comparable only to the Z06. If you were purchasing a ZR-1 in 1993 you could expect to pay anywhere from $70,000 to $80,000. The Mustang in this comparision, while being modified, is not considered radical by any means. The Mustang used in this test, has the modifications listed below, plus 245/16/50 rear tires mounted on the stock wheels.
