Ever wondered how your Mustang compares to others on the street? In this test I have combined performance numbers of various Mustangs, including 5.0 liters and 4.6 liters.

Here are the test vehicles:

1989 Mustang GT 5.0 5-speed

1989 Mustang GT Convertible 5.0 AOD

1989 Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed

1994 Mustang GT 5.0 5-speed

1996 Mustang SVT Cobra 4.6 5-speed

1998 Mustang GT 4.6 5-speed

The 1989 Mustangs are represting the 89-93 Cars. The 1994 Mustang was the next body style, which is heavier, but still a 5.0. The 4.6 liter is represented in the 96 SVT Cobra, and the 98 GT.
