Late Model Mustang Gear Comparison*
I originally took this chart down becuase of all the emails I got. Rear end gears for the most part only help you in the first 60 ft. of the 1/4 mile. The problem is with more gear you can't put the power to the ground, if you could hook up, the gear would make much more of a difference. If you have wider tires, modified your rear suspension, etc. you can expect much better results. Also note that since the cars here are stock they don't make power at higher RPMS, meaning with more gear they are shifting sooner, these added shifts are also reducing the performance gains.
